Pulmonary Fibrosis Australasian Clinical Trials (PACT) Network

Welcome to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Australasian Clinical Trials (PACT) Network – making a difference for patients and families living with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Australasian Clinical Trials (PACT) Network is a collaboration of passionate and dedicated specialists who are working with Lung Foundation Australia to design and implement clinical trials and studies that will improve outcomes for patients with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Participation in clinical trials drives innovation and best practice in healthcare by generating the evidence which guides sound decision making. A group of expert clinicians from the NHMRC’s Centre for Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis (CRE-PF) recognised that PF research lagged other serious lung conditions and have responded by forming the PACT network – a powerful force for change. PACT’s objective is to ensure patients with pulmonary fibrosis, their families and health care professionals are aware of, and have access to, up-to-date clinical trial information, and the latest advances in Pulmonary Fibrosis treatment – our PACT with you.
